The South Charlotte Thunder Fall Registration Meeting for players and parents will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 3pm at the Providence Road Church of Christ 4900 Providence Rd, Charlotte, NC 28226

The following is due before October 23, 2021 for each player:

• Registration Form/Code of Conduct (online form)

The following items are due on October 23, 2021 for each player:

• Checklist (PDF document)

• Physical Exam/Questionnaire (PDF) to be completed by the player's doctor

• Concussion Awareness Form (PDF)

• Player fees (see checklist above for dollar amounts)

• Junior/Senior Declaration (see checklist above for details)

The following items are due on October 23, 2021 for each new player:

• Bring birth certificate to show

• Homeschool verification (link)

• Recruit/Non-Recruit Form (PDF)

The South Charlotte Thunder is planning to have the following teams this season:

• Middle school girls

• Middle school boys

• JV boys

• Varsity girls

• Varsity boys

Tryouts will be held at the at the Providence Road Church of Christ 4900 Providence Rd, Charlotte, NC 28226. Check the calendar for the specific times.

The first Thunder basketball skills clinic starts Monday (May 10)! The sessions for this clinic are scheduled for Mondays & Thursdays 6pm to 7pm running from May 10 - June 17 (skipping Memorial Day on May 31).

The clinic is run by a current college basketball player who will pull from his personal training experiences. This clinic will focus on ball handling and offensive movement and is a great way to start preparing for summer leagues and next school season! The clinic location is Providence Road Church of Christ (Charlotte, NC).

These sessions are open to Thunder players and Charlotte area homeshool students interested in playing basketball for the South Charlotte Thunder. Open gyms will consist of structured playing time and skill development.

A few extra rules due to the COVID related restrictions:

1. Must wear a mask when on the sidelines

2. Socially distance when possible
